Lonestar College-Tomball, formerly Tomball College, is one of five colleges in the Lone Star College System (LSCS). Dedicated and opened in 1988, the college sits on 143 acres on SH 249 north of FM 2920 and just south of Spring Creek. LSC-Tomball offers degrees and certificates in many different fields of study including Nursing, Occupational Therapy, Pharmacy Technology, Cisco Certification, and Veterinary Technology.
Lone Star College-Tomball is also home to the LSC-Tomball and Community Library. The Library is a joint project between LSCS and the Harris County Public Library System (HCPL).
The LCS-Tomball Wellness Center is a state-of-the-art fitness facility, with racquet ball courts, basketball court and indoor walking track.
The Lone Star College – Tomball Assessment Center provides a variety of testing services for Lone Star College System students and the community. We offer many exams including Distance Learning, Make-up Exams, Correspondence Testing, Challenge Exam, COMPASS, ESL, and ASSET testing. We also offer Pearson VUE and CLEP exams.
The Assessment Center is located in Room L201, second floor of the library.
